Carolyn Yeager, Broker Associate

Carolyn's motto is "faith, family, and friendships" and it is evident in the relationships she has built in her many years in real estate related businesses.  She is sincere when she says that her real estate relationships are more than just business-long after the transaction is closed, most of her customers have remained friends. From occasional baby sitting, helping out on moving day to overnight guests, Carolyn's customers receive personal attention and the best of service.

Carolyn has an extensive background in property evaluation, being a Ceritifed Residential Appraiser as well as a full time Broker Associate. Prior to joining Maureen Realty Team, she worked in her family's appraisal business which was established in 1970.  She has held a real estate license since 1973 and her appraiser's certification since 1994. During that time she also worked as a property manager for the Veteran's Administration. 

Born and raised in Shawnee, OK, Carolyn attended the University of Oklahoma and is a big Sooner fan! Carolyn is fortunate to have two grandsons who will gladly take her season football tickets if she has to "show property" on Saturday game days. Carolyn's two children, Lisa and Todd are employed in the Ardmore area and live close enough to give Mom a hand when needed. Husband Don has been active in the cattle industry and on more than one occasion Carolyn has helped "round up", vaccinate and even help "pull a calf".

Through the years Carolyn has given back to her community by serving as the first Director of Volunteers at the hospital, President of United Methodist Women, FUMC Mission trips to Mexico, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and Leadership Ardmore graduate. In her profession she has served as President of the local Southern Oklahoma Board of Directors, The Oklahoma Legislative committee and has been asked to teach some informative real estate classes in the community. In 2003 she was honored with "Realtor of the Year" by her fellow Realtor members.
