Mickie has recently returned to the MRI fold after 10 years with a different
company. She has held a real estate license for 19 years and garnered
Realtor of the Year honors in 1991 from the Southern Oklahoma
Board of Realtors, in which she has been extremely active.
Her involvement in the group includes holding practically every office,
including president in 1992. She has also served on several real
estate committees
at
the state
level. She is closely tied to the real estate community and has a
great knowledge of the property available and the ability to value property.
Although Mickie is an Ardmore native, she did not spend much time here while
growing up. Her father was in the military so she had the opportunity to
live in many places across the country.
She did return to
Ardmore
in 1974 where she has remained. Her husband, David, has been a builder for
28 years and the two have three children and five grandchildren. Mickie
says her greatest interest is her grandchildren.
When not involved in her professional endeavors, Mickie can
be found
coo king. She loves to cook for friends and family and is also
into canning. Her garden is usually full of veggies which she will later can.
She
has recently taken up the sport of golf and is anxious to become more
involved in it. Mickie’s house is never void of Christmas cheer. She loves
to collect santas and snow men and has a room in her house that is Christmas
year-round. She also collects chickens and roosters.
Mickie is very active and has spent much time working in real estate
groups. She has served on several Chamber of Commerce committees
and New Horizons program and is
also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Let Mickie
take you through the sometimes nerve-racking
process of buying or selling
property, you will be glad you did.
