 Carolyn’s
motto is “faith, family, and friendships” and it is evident in the
relationships she has built in her many years in real estate related
businesses. She is sincere when she says that her real estate relationships
are more than just business. This commitment to quality service has earned
her the honor of being “Realtor of the Year” in the Ardmore area in 2003! Carolyn provides an
extensive background in property evaluation, being a licensed appraiser as
well as a true real estate professional. Prior to joining MRI, she
worked in her family’s appraisal business which was established in 1970.
She has held a real estate license since 1973 and her appraiser’s
certificate since 1994. Through all of this Carolyn has played an
extensive role in the family ranching operation.
Born and raised in
Shawnee, OK, Carolyn attended the University of Oklahoma and is a big Sooner
fan! She has a daughter who is an accomplished vocalist and vocal
music teacher and a son who followed in the family footsteps to become an
appraiser, now living in St. Paul, MN. Her husband, Don, is also an
appraiser.
Carolyn can be
found watching her two grandchildren play little league, playing mahjongg
(Chinese tile game), shopping for fun, or doing yard work in her leisure
time. She is also actively involved in a disciple Bible study and volunteer
activities through the United Methodist Church. She also is a devoted CASA
volunteer.
In order to give
back to her chosen profession, Carolyn is serving as the Vice President of
the Southern Oklahoma Board of Realtors and is a member of the national and
state real estate groups, National Association of Independent Real Estate
Appraisers, Ardmore Chamber of Commerce, and the Ladies of the Leaf Literary
Club.
 With specialties in
evaluating property values and working with corporate relocation companies,
Carolyn will help the seller and buyer alike, get the fairest price for property and assure the buyers they are getting their special home in the
Ardmore area. |
